Presented by: Dr. John Yardley from Metrics@Work and Brock University. Dr. Yardley will explore the idea of toxicity and how it works against productivity and physical and psychosocial health whereas civility and collaboration are key to improving individual and organizational health. Therefore, getting local leadership right is instrumental in improving individual, team and organizational outcomes. Dr. Yardley will present a blend of theory and practice by drawing on 28 years of consulting experience, and analyses from Metrics@Work’s data sets. Any coalition or agency in Ontario can be a partner in a CWHP regional workshop. That means acting as hosts and promoters of the event, as well as identifying and arranging local input and content. We encourage hosts to promote outside their organization to community partners and others in their region. Travel and material costs are negotiated on an individual basis. We provide the facilitators at no cost.
Regional workshop requests are fulfilled on a first come, first served basis. We work with groups as small as 30 and as large as 50.
If you are interested in hosting a regional event, please fill out a service request form available online or in pdf format. Please note that we require at least three-months notice to plan and deliver a regional workshop.
