Evaluation

Évaluation des programmes de promotion de la santé
Regardless of the definition used, program evaluation involves the collection of information that will help program planners improve the effectiveness of their program. In order to collect valid and reliable information, evaluators utilize, as much as possible, the scientific method for collecting information. Information is collected in a systematic and standardized way. In the past program evaluation has been used to determine whether a program is effective or not. Today it is used more often for continuous quality improvement, in other words, what can we do to improve the effectiveness of our program and what needs to be changed? This workbook guides readers through THCU's 10 steps to evaluation. Révision: April 2002  Click here to download PDF.
