Important Notice From THCU

Dear colleagues,
As previously announced, THCU is transitioning from the University of Toronto Dalla Lana School of Public Health to the Ontario Agency for Health Protection and Promotion.
During our wind-down and transition period, THCU's Service Coordination Office (in Orillia) will not be accessible by phone after March 14, 2011.
In order to focus on wind-down activities, including completion of current deliverables and reporting, we will acknowledge, but not proceed with detailed arrangements for new Service Requests received by email or website (Services Request Form) from March 14-31. These requests will of course be forwarded to the incoming "THCU Services Coordinator" at the OAHPP who will reply once the new group is fully up and running in April.
Please continue to use the existing THCU website for important announcements about this transition and ongoing products and services information.
In the coming months, the 17 individuals who provided services on behalf of THCU over the last 18 years may or may not be joining OAHPP by way of employment or consultant contracts. Those leaving THCU may choose to post a farewell message in the OHPE bulletin (www.ohpe.ca), including forwarding addresses.
The current THCU team is meeting for the last time on April 7, 2011 following The Ontario Public Health Convention (TOPHC) in Toronto. We invite you to join us in the Lobby Bar of the Westin Harbour Castle after 7:30pm. If you are not able to make it to this event, we would be delighted to hear from you in other ways.
