Six Program Planning Steps Our ‘original’ OHPP remains: that is, six program planning steps to help you make evidence-informed planning decisions. Use the BLUE Program Planning Steps menu on the left-hand side of each page to use these worksheets. If you created this plan before we added the new planning worksheets, no problem - all of your information is still here. Now you have the option of also using the new worksheets. Online Business Case Creator (OBCC) NEW! The OBCC is a tool that will guide you through a three-step process to analyze your project and help you make recommendations about whether a project should move forward. Use the BROWN Online Business Case Creator menu on the left-hand side of each page to access these worksheets. The OBCC worksheets are most useful when you already have established your program evidence-base and have made some basic planning decisions (e.g., resources available, goals, objectives, activities, etc.). Other OHPP planning and project management worksheets can help you to make and document these decisions, but they are not mandatory. You may also use your own planning tools, forms or methods then come here to use only the OBCC worksheets. If you would like more information about this three-step business case creation process, please look at the Online Business Creator Workbook, found on the Learning Centre Menu on the right-hand side of every page. Project Management Tools (PMT) NEW! The Project Management Tools includes worksheets to help you iron out the implementation details of your project. Some of the worksheets (e.g., Stakeholder roles and expectations) are similar to worksheets in Step One of the program planning process (Manage the planning process), but those on the Project Management Tools Menu are related to implementation, rather than the planning process (the plan to plan). Use the GREEN Project Management Tools menu on the left-hand side of each page to access these worksheets. Information about how to use these worksheets is available at the top of each project management worksheet. Get started! Click on any worksheet, on any of the three menus on the left-hand side of this page to get started editing your existing plan, or adding to your new plan. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like help understanding the new features of OHPP. |
