Conducting surveys workshop (1 day)

Description of workshop
This workshop provides an overview of what you to know to plan,
design, and prepare a survey--one of the primary approaches used
to evaluate health promotion programs. Participants will learn when
it is appropriate to conduct a survey (pros/cons), how to determine
which method to use (face-to-face interviews, telephone interviews
or mailed questionnaires), how to design and pilot-test the questionnaire
(deciding on questions and layout), and how to prepare the sample
(determining what and how many respondents to select).
